Come, join us for the sunrise trek to Tikona Fort and enjoy the panoramic views of the Pavna region.

Tikona (also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in Maval region in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 120 km from Mumbai. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangle".

The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. From the peak of the fort, one can view Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur.

Itinerary

Day 1:
11.00 pm : Leave from Mumbai via non AC private bus 

Day 2 : 
4:00 am : Reach base village (Freshen up)
4:30 am : Start with the trek
6.00 am : Reach at top and wait for the sunrise
6.30 am : Enjoy the sunrise with tea/coffee in your hands
8:00 am : Begin descending
9:00 am : Breakfast 
2:00 pm : Reach Mumbai
