Bhimashankar is known to be one of the most ancient trek routes in Sahyadri ranges. This route puts your endurance level to test. It contains hills and down-hill plateaus and pastures, dense forest of karvi plants, ever-changing colors, and breathtaking beauty. Highly recommended trek for amazing trekking experience.

Itinerary

Day 1:

11:00 pm : Leave from Mumbai via non AC private bus

Day 2:

4:00 am : Reach Khandas village and rest

6:00 am : Freshen up, introduction session and breakfast

7:00 am : Start trekking

11:00 am : Reach the top, have lunch and sightseeing (if time permits)

2:30 pm : Start descending

5:30 pm : Start return journey to Mumbai

8:00 pm : Reach Mumbai
 


Things to Carry :

  • Backpack - to carry your belongings (please avoid sling bags)

  • Water bottle (Minimum 2 litres)

  • Torch (compulsory)

  • Cap, Windcheater and trekking shoes advisable. (Please avoid sneakers, canvas shoes having flat soles as there are high chances of slipping)

  • Cover for your gadgets

  • Extra pair of clothes

  • Camera (optional)

  • Personal medicines, if any
