Sondai is a small but beautiful trek situated in the Matheran range. It is more of a watch tower than a fort. It derives its name from a local deity Sondai devi. One can get a view of Morbe dam reservoir, Irshalgad, Matheran hills and Garbett plateau from the top. Sondewadi is the base village for this trek.

09:30 am : Reach Sondewadi and have breakfast
10:30 am : Introductions, Instructions, and start for the trek
12:00 pm : Reach the top and view the mesmerizing landscapes
12:30 pm : Start descend back to Sondewadi
02:30 pm : Have lunch and head back to Karjat station
07:00 pm : Reach Mumbai with sweet memories of trek
