Overview

Ranthambore Wildlife Reserve is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to watch animals in their natural habitat. Tigers can be easily spotted even in the Day time. The parks deciduous forests are characteristic examples of the type of jungle found in Central India. Other major animals include leopard, sloth bears, Sambhar deer, Nilgai, striped hyena, Rhesus macaque and Chital. The reserve is home to a variety of birds’ plants as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India. 


Kids Policy:

  • Kids below 5 years of age would not be charged any extra 
  • However, if you opt for a separate seat for the kids in the safari jeep, then it would be chargeable
  • Kids with age 5-12 years would be charged at a discounted price

Itinerary

Please note, the tour starts and ends from Sawai Madhopur railway station. Suggested trains include Jaipur MMCT-JP SF or GOLDEN TEMPLE or August Kranti from MMCT/ CST. Participants taking flights to Jaipur or New Delhi will get a pick-up and drop support in a sedan or SUV vehicles on request and at an additional cost.


Day 1: Reach Sawai Madhopur, Briefing session & evening safari
Upon arrival at Sawai Madhopur, 10 mins journey to the hotel. Participants will check into the hotel.
A small briefing session followed after lunch will set the pace for first jungle safari. Later on, followed by an evening meeting at the Hotel.

Day 2: Morning and evening safari
Early morning wildlife safari followed by breakfast and discussion about sightings.
Afternoon safari post lunch.
After evening refreshments informative session on Biodiversity followed by Dinner.

Day 3: Morning safari and shopping session 
Early morning wildlife safari followed by breakfast and shopping session in the local handicraft market. Post lunch, check out and leave for Sawai Madhopur railway station/ Jaipur.
