Pench Tiger Reserve nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench River, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara.Pench National Park, comprising of 758 SQ Kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq km is the national park and and remaining 464 sq km is the buffer area. The Pench National Park, like it did in the iconic 'The Jungle Book', still brings humans in close contact with wildlife. Rudyard Kipling based Mowgli's adventures, and his battle with the furious Sher Khan, on this very place.It is divided by river Pench into nearly two equal parts. This magnificent expanse shelters over 285 resident and migratory birds. Pench National Park, with its majestic tigers and several other animals and birds, will bring back the thrill you used to have, when watching Mowgli battle Sher Khan.

Tikona (also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in Maval region in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 120 km from Mumbai. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangle". The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. From the peak of the fort, one can view Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur.  Difficulty level : Easy (Beginners Trek) Height : 3500 ft above SL Location : Maval Base Village : Tikona Washrooms: Only at the base village Approx. time of trek: 2 hour to the top

Ratangad (The Jewel Of Sahyadris) is a fort in Ratan Wadi, Maharashtra, India, overlooking the locale of Bhandardara, one of the oldest artificial catchment area. The fort is about 2000 years old. Ratangad was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle. The base village Ratanwadi has an Amruteshwar temple which is famous for its carvings. The fort is the origin for the river Pravara/Amrutvahini. The Bhandardara dam(arthar dam) is built on this river. Rajmachi fort is a strategic fort overlooking borghat/ khandala ghat which was a historical trade route. There are two fort - Shrivardhan and Manaranjan which were built by “Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj” during 17th century. Rajmachi can be reached by 2 ways, the tough route from kondivade village near Karjat and the other easy route from Lonavala.

Peb fort derives its name from the Goddess 'Pebi'. It is also called Vikatgad because its pinnacle is supposedly in the shape of the Elephant headed god - Ganesha. Historical references clearly indicate that Shivaji Maharaj used the caves on the fort as silos for grain storage. The cave on the fort is occupied by disciples of Swami Samarth, a great saint. They have contributed a lot to development on this fort from last ten years. They have managed successfully to keep the cave and the fort clean, and maintained the dignity of the fort. The fort lies in the Matheran range itself and is adjacent to Matheran. It is an easy trek, with the slightly difficult parts being the small rock patch and a ladder. It is a photographer's paradise. 

Bhimashankar is known to be one of the most ancient trek routes in Sahyadri ranges. This route puts your endurance level to test. It contains hills and down-hill plateaus and pastures, dense forest of karvi plants, ever-changing colors, and breathtaking beauty. Highly recommended trek for amazing trekking experience.
